This up and coming mixed media and modular Ashram is a hidden gem in our city. Only in its first year and already hosting some of the most innovative events, creatives and curators in our area. Definitely a high recommend to book your networkers or open mics here.

ethos —

At Studio 7117, we create with intentionionality—but we’re not afraid to push and reimagine what’s possible. This is a space and collective where ancestral tradition meets experimentation.

Rooted locally, we stay connected to global perspectives as we bridge cultures, disciplines, and stories across borders. We make space for stories that deserve to be seen, heard, and felt everywhere.

From performances and exhibitions to film screenings and listening sessions, Studio 7117 is a place to explore, question, and expand. We are not a trend. We are a timeline shift.

Mission —

To cultivate a community-rooted creative ashram—a sacred space where artistry, living, and community intertwine—empowering BIPOC artists, healers, thought leaders, and visionaries from immigrant and refugee communities uses storytelling through the arts as a tool for healing, visibility, and cultural preservation.

Values —

Storytelling as Resistance
We uplift personal and collective stories as a way to reclaim culture, truth, and power across communities and generations.

Cultural & Global Stewardship
We honor our ancestral lineages, lived experiences, and international perspectives, recognizing the interconnectedness of creative expression worldwide.

Accessibility & Inclusion
We prioritize underserved voices and commit to equitable access through sliding-scale offerings and community-centered practices.

Art as Healing
We view every creative act—design, film, photography, movement, ritual—as part of a larger journey toward individual and collective healing.

Sustainable Creativity & Emotional Wellness
We cultivate practices rooted in rest, balance, and care, preventing burnout and supporting long-term creative and community well-being.
